Description

This photograph was captured in the Glencoe Nature Reserve after the last snow fall in early May. It was photographed during the same expedition as the Sunrise on Buachaille Etive Mor, the Meeting of the Glencoe Stobs and Glencoe Rocks Connection. Here, I particularly like the equilibrium between this single boulder, the wave like slope of the Buachaille mountain and the snowy summits of Glen Etive. This photograph also illustrates how rich and particular the light is in Scotland thanks to its clouds.
