Description

This photograph of the traditional phone boxes was captured on the famous Royal Mile in Edinburgh Scotland. What attracted me to capture this scene and to process it with a partial saturation is the time paradox the phone boxes represent in the old Scottish capital. While the urban scene illustrates the evolution of a civilisation, the irony is the boxes represent the modern world that is already behind us. The matte paper finish accentuate this feeling.
