Rocks of Broadhaven Bay – Scottish Borders

Description

This was photographed along the geologically rich coast of the Scottish Borders near the small village of St Abbs. I have always been attracted to the incredible rock formation in the area. The rising tide and the long exposure go very well together to create this eerie atmosphere that is so beautifully described in Tolkien’s novels. The rocks emerging from the waters offer some fantastic shapes. This is just a stone throw away from The Hidden Creek at Pettico Wick Bay and The Jetty of Pettico Wick Bay – Scottish Borders.
