Meeting of the Glencoe Stobs – Scotland

Description

This photograph was captured in the Glencoe Nature Reserve after the last snow fall in early May. It was photographed during the same expedition as the Sunrise on Buachaille Etive Mor. What interested me in this scene is the relationship between the rocks on the foreground and the Glencoe mountains in the background. As if the rocks mimicked the reliefs of the other Stobs, not only with their positions but also using the lichen to appear snowy. One cannot ignore obviously the ever so imposing figure of the Buachaille Etive Mor, presiding the whole landscape.
