îlot Saint-Michel Côtes-d’Armor – France
Description
This photograph was captured in the Côtes-d’Armor in Brittany France. I was conducting a 3-day workshop in the area and at the end of the last day, all the elements came together. The tide was coming up, offering some great breaks against the rocks. The rock formation was very interesting on it own; it had been carved by the waters for centuries giving it the appearance of a manmade dry stone wall. Finally the sun pierced through the patchy cloudy sky to lit up the chapel Saint-Michel, perched on the tip of the small isle that bears the same name. I am very fond of this view and its painterly feeling produced by the long exposure.
