Captured during one of my annual workshops in the Vallée de la Clarée at the end of October, this image reveals nature’s orchestra in full motion. The day was steeped in gentle rain, wrapping the valley in a delicate mist that softened the distance and deepened the mood. A long exposure allows the river’s wild energy to transform into a smooth, melodic flow—its silky motion contrasting beautifully with the rugged rocks and the prickly larch needles dressed in autumn gold. The result is a visual symphony where water, stone, and forest perform in perfect harmony.
