Description

At the edge of Ariundle’s temperate rainforest, where ancient oak woodland meets a boggy glen, the trees grow low and wide, shaped by centuries of wind and wet. Their twisted limbs sprawl across the moss-laden ground, forming a living scaffold for ferns, lichens, and mosses that flourish in the humid air. This threshold between woodland and wetland is one of rich biodiversity, where forest gives way to open moor, and each ecosystem feeds the other. The heavy, lichen-cloaked boughs speak not of decay, but endurance—of a forest shaped slowly, faithfully, by the rhythm of rain and the passage of time.

The paper

This photograph is printed on a 100% cotton museum-grade Fine Art Platinum 310gsm Canson paper offering the aesthetic and feel of the original F-Type Baryta Fibre paper, having a true pure white tone without using optical brighteners that are known to affect the longevity of digitally produced images. The surface finish is satin with a slight texture. This paper shows excellent black density and exceptional grey tones, which is perfect for the more discerning black and white as well as colour photographic prints.
