The Exposure Triangle

Photography is about capturing light, and when it comes to an exposure three factors come into play:
  1. The sensitivity of the media (Film or sensor) and is rated in ISO (International Standard Organisation).
  2. The lens’ Aperture through which the light travels.
  3. The camera Shutter which regulates the time the media is exposed to the light.
The combination of the three is commonly called the Exposure Triangle.
