How to calculate the Depth Of Field

A year ago I published a video explaining the Depth Of Field and its two factors being the Aperture and the distance. A couple of weeks ago, one of the Tom Migot Photography Youtube channels emailed me asking how does one know to set the right parameter to have a nice DOF. In this episode, I expose the role of the distance on the DOF and talk about the DOF calculator. One could go deep in the theory of what algorithm is used by such calculator, what the hyperfocal distance is and I might do an episode on that but here, being St Patrick’s day and all I wanted to keep it easy and not boring.
